Mine and Jj’s views on boys who date girls from the hardcore scene.

The irony within this video is unforgiving. The dude constantly brings up disliking hipsters when he is the epitome of one in his bellend owl shirt that clearly caters for the fashion taste of none other than a Barbie looking bitch. Your shit eating mustache perfectly highlights how much you look like a starved child whom is force fed a diet of cum by the ‘dark and mysterious’ esque bands you no doubt desire to finger bang. How anyone can find this guy entertaining is beyond me, he is  criticising the looks of others when he looks like a future warehouse worker which is clearly what will be his career outcome as his ‘tattoo flash’ is appalling and on par with crayon drawings of a nursery student whilst his girlfriend looks like the love child of Steve Buscemi and Rick Ta Life. Congratulations on being Tumblr famous, your input in to the lives of the people of the world is truly miraculous and i’m so glad that I am part of a generation that spends so much time creating videos undermining others when you are in fact a cesspit, not someone who level headed individuals would aspire to be like. I highly hope you get filmed having your teeth kicked in as it is highly apparent that if you were slapped by an infant girl, it would sound like the Twin Towers collapsing.

P.S. You have a cat tattooed on your stomach and your band is bollocks, bruvvvvvvvvvvvvvv.

What Joe said. Been going to UKHC/London shows for a while now and I’ve never seen these scrotes. Stay cool on the internets brah.

Hahahaha

I don’t really know how to feel about this.

- Sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation, not the British Boxing Board of Control as neither holds their licence any more even though it’s going to happing in the UK.

- They brawled at the press conference following Del Boy’s defeat to Vitali Klitschko, in which he claimed he would SHOOT David Haye.

- Del Boy is also an actual violent person, has to take anger management treatment, has been charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend, assaulting a police officer, & possession of an offensive weapon. He has also slapped V Klitschko and spat at his brother, W Klitschko, at the weigh in.

- Tensions are obviously still high, it’s very personal and they really don’t like each other, is it going to be a real scrappy fight? They even had to be separated by a metal fence during the press conference.

If it goes ahead, I’ll definitely be watching, but is it undermining the British Boxing Board, and is it really setting the right example to young people into boxing, following the pretty high profile brawl? Should be interesting to see how it goes, Team Haye all the way.

Mike Tyson, the Porthcawl Brawl, Don King being a killer, all this shit has happened before and nothing went down. Big time professional boxing has been shite for about 5 or 6 years now, hopefully this will give it a little bit of a boost.

This morning Josep Guardiola announced that he’d be abandoning his post as FC Barcelona manager at the end of this season.

Since I began following Barca in 1998, I’ve seen some great eras of football. There were also great eras before, which other Barca fans will remember and cherish forever. However I don’t think any football fan can argue that the era which will come to a close on June 30th is one of the greatest in the history of the sport.

Pep Guardiola, a former player, returned to Barca in 2007 to coach the B team. One year later he was appointed as manager of the first team, following the dismissal of an also rather successful Frank Rijkaard. I remember, all the while being rather excited to see Guardiola return to Barca, being somewhat concerned by the dismissal of Rijkaard and to see him replaced by someone who had never coached a top flight football club.

What followed will surely be the most memorable four years in the history of one of the biggest clubs in football. In 2008/09, then onwards into 09/10, Pep led Barca through a perfect year - his first year. Having led them to victory in La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League, he guided the side to victories in the Spanish Super Cup, European Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup. Barca were the first team to win all six trophies in one season. No-one has done it since.

During his four year tenancy, Barcelona have won 13 trophies, with the (realistic) opportunity to win one more. Barca have scored 618 goals in the 242 games he has managed, of which we have won 175.

Despite a sterling record when it comes to numbers, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say that he’ll be better remembered for his vision, attitude and philosophy, which combined have created a legacy of football at the club. The open, attack-minded, possession driven, passing masterclass is what Barca have become famous for since his inception - a trophy winning formula, the admiration of which stretched beyond the Nou Camp and captured the attention of football fans worldwide. Somewhat thankfully, Pep’s replacement has been announced as his assistant manager of five years (one at Barca B, four at Barca), Tito Vilanova, who will surely continue to coach the team in the same way. Regardless, Pep Guardiola applied this formula to an already very talented side, and the result was an era of football which will be remembered and talked about as long as the sport exists.

Something which also needs to be addressed is his relationship with Lionel Messi. When Pep took over, Messi was a young and obviously talented winger. Despite his impact on the wing, Pep saw something in the young Argentine and worked tirelessly with him to find how he would fit best into the team…or perhaps how the team would best fit him. It wasn’t long before Messi had settled into the centre of attack, sitting just behind where a main striker would. Since then, Messi has turned into the best footballer on the planet, possibly of all time. Obviously there are arguments for and against the latter, but they’re not relevant in this context. It has to be acknowledged that Guardiola effectively turned a promising young winger into the best footballer of our generation.

Beyond the game itself, Guardiola will be remembered for his humility as a manager, his integrity in terms of a management style, and sticking to it, and more admirably, his modesty. Always gracious in defeat (rare as it has been), never arrogant or assuming leading up to a match, and a true role model who represents the club’s philosophy and ideals.

It’s alleged that he’ll be taking a year’s sabbatical following his departure on June 30th, after which who knows where he’ll land. He could return to the Nou Camp to work on the presidential board…depending on the situation on the pitch he might even return to manage the side again. He might just quit football forever…but I doubt it.

Going back to the initial point of past, present and future eras of the club, and football in general, I have to highlight how privileged I feel to not only be a football fan, but a Barca fan in this particular era. It’s difficult to imagine having the same passion for a side in years to come, when I look back on 2 Champions League titles, 3 La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey (maybe one more to come), a barrage of ludicrous Clasicos (not to mention THE 5-0), and some of the greatest goals and football I could ever wish to see.

I can only hope that Vilanova picks up exactly where Pep left off, and can take the reigns with the same pride, passion, integrity and exceptional talent which his predecessor displayed during his time at the top. After Pep’s press conference announcing his departure, president Sandro Rosell continuously thanked the manager and highlighted how much the club owes him. Gratitude is precisely what he is owed, not just by FC Barcelona, but by football fans the world over. Undoubtedly the greatest manager of this generation, and surely one of the greatest of all time, even after just four short years.

Thanks Pep, come back soon.

Great stuff from Twig
